In April next month, there will be 15 holiday days for banks. The banks will not be functioning due to the closure on April 1 in the beginning of the next financial year 2021-22 (April-March)
while the banks will remain closed on April 2 due to Good Friday.
After this, banks will be closed on Sunday on April 4 and on Babu Jagjivan Ram Jayanti on April 5 due to holiday in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Banks will have a holiday on April 6 due to the assembly elections in Tamil Nadu.
Furtherr, banks will remain closed on 10 April due to the second Saturday of the month and Sunday on 11 April. This will be followed by Banks' holiday on 13 April as Gudi Padwa / Telugu New Year's Day / Ugadi Festival
Next day on 14th April, Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti as well as Tamil New Year Day / Vishu / Biju Festival / There will be a holiday in banks due to Chiroba / Bohag Bihu. Simultaneously, on 15 April, Himachal Day/Bengali New Year's Day is the occasion of Bohag Bihu and Sirhul. Simultaneously, it is Bohag Bihu on 16 April and Sunday on 18 April. Further, banks will stay shut on April 21 on the occasion of Ramnavami Then there will be no functioning in banks due to fourth Saturday on April 24 and Sunday on 25th.
