In this 2008 encounter, Inspector Mohan Chandra Sharma of Delhi Police was martyred. For this martyrdom, the government honored Sharma with the Gallantry Award. The militant is a terrorist of the Indian Mujahideen. It was included in the wanted list of Delhi Police.
