Maharashtra: Dog rape case caught on social media, trending for last 20 hours #SorrySeru
Mumbai: Female dog in Maharashtra capital Mumbai The rape case has now caught fire. The debate started on social networking site Twitter from Monday morning and people are demanding strict action against the accused by writing #SorrySheru. So far, 1 lakh 62 thousand people have tweeted.
Stray animals were raped
In fact, the Mumbai Police has arrested a 68-year-old elderly man for raping a female dog. Police of DN Nagar said, 'The incident took place in Juhu area of Andheri West in December last year, which has now been revealed. The arrested accused is a vegetable seller, who lives in Juhu street.
According to the allegation,
the accused has carried out the rape incident with many animals so far.

Animal right institution complained
The complaint of this case was filed by Vijay Mohanani of an organization called Bombay Animal Right. He has also given CCTV footage to the police as evidence, in which the accused is seen raping the female dog. Vijay has claimed on the basis of the statements of the neighbors that the accused keeps raping the female dog and the cat. Acting on the complaint, a case was registered against the accused under sections 429, 377, 11 (1) (A) and 11 (1) (2) of the IPC and the Animal Act.
