How to link Aadhaar card to PAN card
Almost everyone has Aadhaar card and PAN card. But do you know that now the number link of these two cards has become mandatory. Failure to do so within the stipulated time can lead to heavy fines under the Income Tax Act. The Government of India has made it mandatory to link the Aadhaar card with the PAN card by 31 March. Failure to do so will result in a fine of up to Rs 10,000 under the Income Tax Act. Also, PAN card will be invalid. Whatever you have in hand before you start.
Keep the PAN card and the credit card close to the tilt
Follow this process on a computer instead of a smartphone.
Step 1 Log on to the Income Tax Department website. https://www.incometaxindiaefiling.gov.in/home
Step 2 On the left side of the home page, select the 'Link Aadhaar' option as a quick link.
Step 3 After that a new webpage will open. Enter your PAN, Aadhaar number and name there.
Step 4 After that you have to select some options. The Aadhaar card should have the age of birth.
Step 5 Then choose the option to validate Aadhaar from UIDAI.
Step 6 Now enter captcha.
Step 7 Now submit the request based on the link.
