World Health Organization: Shocking disclosure in WHO's new survey, one in three women have faced physical, sexual violence

Geneva: United Nations Health Agency and its partners Has found in a new study that almost one in three women worldwide have experienced physical or sexual violence in their lifetime.


 The report released on Tuesday by the World Health Organization is based on a study. The organization says that this examination is the biggest investigation on viciousness against women It also found that a quarter of the young women who were in a relationship experienced violence by their partner by the time they reached the age of about 25

figures It covers the period from 2010 to 2018. It does exclude the effect of the Kovid-19 pestilence.  According to the study, there has been an increase in domestic violence against women because in many places governments ordered lockdown and other restrictions due to which many people stayed indoors in the house.



 WHO Chief General Tedros Adenhom Grabeyesus said, "Savagery against ladies is in each country and culture, making harm a large number of ladies and their families and has raised due to the Kovid-19 epidemic."



 He urged governments, individuals and communities to help solve the problem.
