New Delhi: The condition of corona infection in the capital Delhi has become serious. New cases of infection are increasing here. Increasing the number of Kovid-19 patients in hospitals, health care has started to crumble. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has indicated this. The Chief Minister will meet Lt. Governor Anil Baijal on Monday to review the status of Covid-19 in the capital. Sources say that in view of the rapid increase in Corona cases in Delhi, the Delhi government is considering extending the weekend (Saturday, Sunday) lockdown to seven days


and new stringent restrictions may apply in Delhi


 The reports quoted sources as saying that Kejriwal may announce more stringent restrictions in the capital after meeting the lieutenant governor. On Sunday, the capital witnessed a huge surge in cases of corona infection. In the last 24 hours, 25,462 new cases of corona infection were found in Delhi, while 161 people died in the last 24 hours. Here the positivity rate has increased to 30 percent. Corona currently has 74,941 active case cases in Delhi. So far, 12,121 people have lost their lives due to this epidemic.

Delhi's situation is deteriorating continuously


 Last week, the Chief Minister announced a weekend lockdown in the state. Also released new guidelines. In a video message, he said, 'Weekend lockdown will help break Corona's chain in Delhi. These restrictions are for the safety of the people. We will be able to beat this wave of corona with the help of people. The lockdown remained in force on weekends in Delhi from 10 pm on Friday to 6 am on Monday. During this period, essential services were missed in the capital. According to the new Delhi government guidelines, shopping malls, gyms, spas, auditoriums, parks and public places were banned. Theaters are allowed to be opened with their own 30 percent capacity.

 Fast-paced ICU beds


 Kejriwal said on Sunday, the Chief Minister said, 'Corona beds are getting depleted at hospitals in Delhi very fast. The number of ICU beds has reduced significantly. There are less than 100 ICU beds left in the whole of Delhi. There is also a shortage of oxygen. We are constantly in touch with the central government and we are getting help from the central government. Yesterday I spoke to Dr. Harsh Vardhan, I told him that we are in great need of beds and oxygen. Talked to Amit Shah today, I also told him that beds are very much needed. There are 10,000 beds in central government hospitals in Delhi, out of which 1800 beds are reserved for corona

Delhi government arranging new beds
 The Delhi Chief Minister said that 1,400 to 2,000 beds will be ready for Covid-19 patients in the city in the next two days. He reviewed the construction of Covid care center there by visiting Yamuna Sports venue and Commonwealth Games Village. He said, 'We are arranging more and more oxygen beds for the people. 1,400 to 2000 beds will be available in the next two days. The Chief Minister said, "We are preparing 500-500 beds at Yamuna Sports venue and Commonwealth Games Village, while 100 beds are being arranged in a government school in Delhi.
