Goodbye Masala King: The man with the evergreen mustache must continue to inspire

It is no small matter that the man whose earnings in 1947 was just eight annas daily, in the last days of his life Salary increased to 21 crores annually. From this, the story of the success of Monsieur Dharmapala can be understood

In the crisis of Corona, when Prime Minister Narendra Modi sought opportunities for India in disaster. If we talked about making fun of him, the competition had started. But the life story of Mahashay Dharampal, known as Masala King, has also been to find opportunity in disaster and not lose courage at any cost. Mahashri Dharmapala, who was in the business of running a war for the purpose of extinguishing the stomach fire after looting everything in Sialkot, Pakistan in Partition, built an empire on the basis of his hard work, prudence and honest effort, whose example is few Get.

For the last few years, the stories of the death of Mahashyam Dharampal were shared on social media. In the year 2018, news of his death spread on social media so fast that his fans had to share his videos. But the news that came on the morning of December 3, was truly his great journey. Two years ago, the news of his being alive had been trending on Twitter for some time. This time, the news related to him is trending on Twitter. The only difference is that the trend of the news trending with the hashtag sir is to honor the displaced who came to Delhi with one and a half thousand rupees and created an empire on the go which is rarely found.

The brand of spices established by Mahashyam Dharampal, MDH i.e. Mahasia Di Hatti's empire has been worth two thousand crores. He also has twenty schools and a hospital in his account. Mahasri Dharmapala was such a worshiper of the Sanatani tradition, to whom any person who went for the purpose of Sanatani never returned empty handed.

One of the brand ambassadors of his products in India, one of the names was that of Mahashay Dharmapala. He continued to promote his spices in a tight mustache and elegant desi apparel. Whether Baba Ramdev got inspiration from him or not is not known. But they are also the brand ambassadors of their products.

Mahashi Dharampal once said that whenever he goes to the street of his house on Rohtak Road, Delhi, he opens shoes or slippers from his feet. He continued to consider not only his house but his street as venerable. He believed that this street led him to a place he had not imagined.

Mahasiya Di Hatti, the founder of the MDH brand named Mahashya Shop, was said to be humorously about Mahashi Dharmapala, that he is a quarter past five. Actually, when he was in the fifth grade, he missed his studies. Born on 27 March 1923 in Sialkot, Mahashay Dharampal had to start sharing his household chores. He had a spice shop in Sialkot, which was famous as the chili ones. In the midst of the pain of partition of India, Mahasam Dharampal's family had to leave Sialkot and take shelter in Delhi. His father Chunnilal Gulati and his family shifted to Delhi. After coming to Delhi, a period of struggle started in order to spend life. Then Dharmapala had fifteen hundred rupees. Well, in those days this amount was quite good. In the struggle of running the family, this young man of the displaced family bought a tanga for 90 rupees from them. Which he started running between Old Delhi Railway Station to Qutub Road. This led to the passing of the family. Meanwhile, he gave this tanga to his younger brother and got himself involved in his family spice business. He started a shop from a small shop in Ajmmal Khan Road, Karol Bagh, Delhi. In one of his interviews, he told that he used to prepare spices himself. Their spices started to be recognized due to their taste and purity. When the recognition was made, his popularity also increased and his business started to grow. Soon, he has 18 factories for spices, some of which are also in Dubai. The MDH brand occupies eighty percent of India's spice market. Their spices are in demand worldwide.

The story of his own appearance in advertisements for his spices is also interesting. People think that he himself was starving for publicity, whereas it is not. In fact, when an advertisement was being shot for his masala a few years back, Sajjan, who played the father of the lead model who played the housewife of that advertisement, was shooting. Could not reach. After this, the director of the advertisement suggested to Mahashay Dharampal to play that role.

Dharampal felt that this would save some of his money and it would also work. His thinking was successful. His commercials were not only popular, but the brand of MDH was also established in the market.

It is not a minor matter that in 1947, a person whose earnings were just eight annas daily, in the last days of his life, his salary increased to 21 crores annually. From this, the story of success of Mahashay Dharmapala can be understood.

The story of Mahashay Dharmapala is the story of a man who had faith in Indian values along with his hard work and honesty. Dharampal also proved that there is no age to work. He remained active till the last moment. Spice commercials of his own brand were like his life. He built an empire of two thousand crores on his own. Mr. Dharmapala was also very generous. Whenever anyone approached him for a noble cause, he did not hesitate to cooperate with a free hand. The country also acknowledged his social and business contributions. Last year, President Ram Nath Kovind honored him with the Padma Bhushan, the third major civilian honor of the country. It would not be an exaggeration to call Mahasri Dharmapala the evergreen figure of the business world. Mr. Dharmapala is no more among us. He lived a full life of nearly 98 years. Today they are no longer among us, but the values they establish, the credibility of the business and the evergreen personality will continue to inspire everyone who loses courage in the midst of disasters.
