 In fact, two sadhus were beheaded and murdered on the intervening night of Tuesday-Wednesday in a temple complex located in the Khirhar police station area of ​​the district. Benipatti Subdivision Police Officer Arun Kumar said on Wednesday that the police interrogated a priest Narayan Das in this connection, which revealed that a man named Deepak Chaudhary had killed both the sadhus and arrested him.

Police raided several places to arrest Deepak. The deceased sadhus have been identified as 60-year-old Heera Das and 38-year-old Anand Jha. Both were residents of village Siriyapur and Bhagwanpur in Basopatti police station area. The heads and torso of the two sadhus were beheaded and hidden separately in a grounded house in the said temple complex and buried in the ground next to a wall. The police have sent both the bodies to Sadar Hospital Madhubani Bihar for post-mortem.
